Privacy policy

Last updated July 24, 2026

This policy covers the yoomzoom pre-launch website — a waitlist and information site. There is no delivery service operating yet. When the service launches, this policy will be replaced with one covering the full product, and waitlist members will be told.

What we collect, and why

  • Waitlist signups: your email and chosen role (sender or driver), and — only if you fill in the optional second step — name, phone, cities, item and vehicle details, and shipping frequency. Used to contact you about launch and to plan which corridors open first.
  • Corridor votes: your email and the route you voted for, so each email counts once per route.
  • Attribution: the referring page and campaign/referral codes from the URL you arrived on, so we know which channels work.
  • Technical signals: your browser’s user-agent string and a salted one-way hash of your IP address (we never store the raw IP), used for abuse prevention and rate limiting.
  • Analytics: we use Google Analytics with event data limited to low-cardinality values (role, city ids, item sizes, share channels). We do not send emails, names, or phone numbers to analytics.

Where it lives, who touches it

Signup and vote data is stored with Supabase (our database provider). Confirmation emails are sent through Resend. The site is hosted on Vercel. Analytics is Google Analytics 4. These providers process data on our behalf; we don’t sell your data or share it with anyone else.

Email

You get a confirmation when you join, and launch-related email afterward — that’s the point of a waitlist. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and we don’t share your address.

Your data, your call

Want your signup, votes, and details deleted? Email hello@yoomzoom.com from the address you signed up with and we’ll remove them.

Questions about any of this: hello@yoomzoom.com. See also the terms of use.
