Bumpers don't fold. Neither do the surcharges.

For Parts resellers, restorers, salvage sellers on eBay and Marketplace. Post the item with a delivery window; a driver already making the I-85/I-40 drive carries it — unboxed, photo-confirmed, at a flat price you can put in the listing.

Why this category ships badly

Geometry alone trips Large Package

A 60-inch bumper at 60×20×20 is 140 inches of length-plus-girth — over the 130-inch Large Package line no matter how light it is. Hoods and fenders are worse.

Crating is a second job

Freight wants panels crated; building a hood crate costs hours and lumber, and an uncrated panel travels at your own risk.

'Local pickup only' loses the sale

The buyer restoring the same chassis is two cities over, not two streets over — and most part listings can't reach them.

Check your exact item against the published 2026 thresholds with the oversize surcharge checker.

What yoomzoom does differently

  • Panels ride padded in a bed or van, uncrated — geometry stops being a pricing event.
  • Flat price by size class, so you can put a real delivery number in the listing.
  • Repeat lanes for repeat sellers: the same corridor every week is exactly what drivers already drive.

A worked example

An OEM bumper, padded (large class), Charlotte to Durham — about 146 miles:

3-day window ≈ $1052-day window ≈ $1201-day window ≈ $135

Estimates, shown upfront before you post — every corridor pair is priced at /routes. Same price either direction.
